You Know Service. So Do We.

UnitedHealthcare offers a wide variety of group plans with comprehensive coverage at competitive rates. These include everything from health savings accounts (HSAs) to traditional HMOs with many plan and network features designed to lower premiums while still providing preventive and routine care coverage.

    Healthy Texas

Healthy Texas is an employer-based program designed to help qualified, uninsured restaurant owners in Texas offer affordable health insurance to their employees and families.

Healthy Texas uses a state-funded pool to reimburse carriers for above-average health care claims costs. Because of this public/private partnership, Healthy Texas premiums shold be on average approximately 25% to 30% lower than commercial market plans. Plus program participants receive the same type of benefits they'd receive from any private market plan including:

    • Five plan design choices ($500, $1500, $2000, $2500 and $2500 HSA compatible annual deductible)
    • Easy-to-understand $25 co-payment for most physician office services ($500 and $1500 deductible plans)
    • 100% coverage for preventive care
    • 80% co-insurance for hospitalization and outpatient surgery
    • Network-only benefits save out-of-pocket costs
    • Prescription Drug plan included $10 / $25 / $50 ($500 or $1500 deductible)
    • Optional additional coverage available (life, dental, vision)

Finally Healthy Texas features a streamlined application and enrollment process. And there are no medical underwriting or rate penalties for pre-existing conditions. (Special qualifications do apply).

    Restaurant Healthcare Discount Program

Employees can receive discounts on a wide range of healthcare services offered through the Restaurant Healthcare Discount Program. This is not an insurance program but an excellent way for your employees to:

    • Access 10% to 25% discounts from approximately 650,000 physician and health care providers nationwide
    • Receive prescription drug discounts
    • Receive discounts on vision, dental, alternative care, fitness, weight loss and other wellness services
    • Access the 24-hour NurseLine℠

And it costs only $5 per employee per month!

Healthcare plans for individuals and their families

Some employees may not qualify for group benefits. In this case, the UnitedHealthOne program may be an affordable alternative for individual or family coverage.
